Sixth Annual Chartered Management Institute Business Continuity Management Survey

CMI and Continuity Forum Research 

The Continuity Forum and the Chartered Management Institute have joined forces this year to undertake the 6th annual survey into Business Continuity Management.

Supported by Veritas this project will continue to provide the most detailed and extensive Research available into management attitudes towards BCM, which has proven key in supporting our Industry development.

This collaboration between the Institute and the Continuity Forum will provide the most extensive coverage for any research programme ever into BCM.

The Forums involvement this years has also facilitated a major extension of the survey as this year we will be further supported by The Government Office for London, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Business Link and the Federation of Small Business (FSB). Running in parallel to the Chartered Management Institute programme, the Continuity Forum will be mirroring the survey on-line to vastly increase the sample base and this will be promoted through our various partners to over 100,000 business. As part of this programme of research the Continuity Forum will also be undertaking additional Qualitative Research designed to further enhance the understanding of findings.

The information contributed to this project will be used by the Continuity Forum, CMI, CBI and FSB to increase the understanding of BCM issues and raise the profile of Business Continuity through our combined channels and shared with various Government Departments to assist further National Development and support for BCM. This combination of partners and methodologies means this is the largest and most representative survey ever undertaken, All replies are in complete confidence and no company specific details will be shared with any third party,
