Consultation for BS31000 Risk Management Code of Practice starts

BSI are publishing today the revised BS standard 31100 Risk Management Code of Practice as a Draft for Public comment. 

Your assistance in reviewing the Code of Practice and providing feedback would be much appreciated. 

This revision has seen clarification, elaboration and alignment to the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard and makes interesting reading for Business Continuity professionals

The draft version is issued to allow comments from interested parties; all comments will be given consideration prior to publication.

The format and style has been enhanced to assist readability and communication. Both additional tables and some examples and changes to diagrams have been included to facilitate this. 

A one page document is in preparation to help you understand the changes made to the standard, first published in October 2008, and this will be installed on eCommittees within the next day or so. 

The deadline for public comments is Thursday 31 March 2011.
